Image Research Office is the design practice of Redwan El-Harrak, spanning a wide array of clients, services, investigative processes and outcomes. However varied, these are unified by a singular sensibility—often rooted in aesthetic ideals as outlined by the Ancient Greeks, as well as Japanese philosophies. These are challenged and complemented in turn by a North African heritage, rich in an Islamic vernacular that centres beauty on scripture, calligraphy, mathematics and proportion in the absence of idolatry.
